Wild and Semi-wild Natural Halal Venison
Sorry, there is no Venison available till mid September. We are now in the birthing season so most hunting has now ceased. Please email us if you want to reserve your order for then.
Venison can probably be described as the food of kings, in the middle ages only Lords and Nobels were allowed to hunt Deer legally.
It is also believed that Venison was of the first meat consumed by man, even before we consumed beef, lamb or chicken, it is belived we ate Venison. So it's great for those on a paleolithic diet!!
Venison is the least fatty of all meats, the deer run around in packs grazing mostly on natural grasses and wild brush so is very lean. It is ideal for those who do not like fat in their meat.
It is also one of the most nutritious meats available. Venison has higher iron levels than any other red meat, contains omega-3 and less fat than a skinned breast of chicken. Read more > Nutritional comparison of venison.
