What we mean by "Organic"
We sell both "organic" and what we term "natural" meat. That which is sold as "organic" is organic in the sense that the suppliers we use are Soil Association registered and approved.
As a company we carry the UK5 certification from the Soil Association.

All our animals come from smallholders and farmers who employ traditional farming methods. Many of them are accredited by the the Soil Association. Visit our Suppliers for more information.
Smallholders generally steer clear of chemical fertilizers on their land because they 1) can not afford them and 2) don't need them as they don't produce as intensively as larger farming units. By default most smallholders are 'organic'. On top of this none of our suppliers would ever dream of going down the road of inorganic feeds, steroids or other unnatural methods.
Organic vs Natural
When we say we sell 'organic halal meat' we mean our the meat comes from suppliers that are Soil Association approved. When we say "natural", we mean meat that comes from animals that are naturally fed, sympathetically treated, free-range and above all happy. A better quality of life for the animals means a better quality of meat for you.
By supporting small scale and principled operations like ours, you help shift the industry away from intensive farming that leads farmers down the line of using fertilizers, unnatural feeds and insensitive treatment - all of which is to meet demand and maximize profits.
Why settle for any halal meat when you can have the tip-top very best?
