Many people want quality lamb but many do not want to pay the premium. After listening to our customers we have now managed to find a happy alternative to organic lamb; what we call “naturally reared”.
We appreciate that organic lamb is relatively expensive. This is due to the premium Soil Association approved farmers achieve for the livestock. Although expensive one needs to appreciate the increased time, effort and energy such farmers have to put in to their produce and it is only right that they are rewarded accordingly.
Our naturally reared lamb come from good, trusted local suppliers who we are confident use as natural breeding and rearing techniques as possible. Their lambs are in effect “organic” but because they have not taken the steps to get Soil Association approval their livestock are obtainable at affordable prices.
When buying our naturally reared selection you can still have the peace of mind that the animal has had a natural, free-range and happy life and of course has been slaughtered according to Islamic principles. On top of this you do not need to pay the premium of organic lamb.
